2023 Imported Section D Filly

Bred by Ben Watts, of Manchester UK, Jam arrived with her dam here in the USA in early spring of 2024. She got a taste of the show pony life, starting with her first welsh show- NEWPAs annual show in NY, where she received a second place in her youngstock class. Switching modes, Jam spent the summer and fall at Dressage Sport Horse shows around the northeast, earning consistent scores up to 75.8% under respectable judges and against some well seasoned ponies. She showed off her exceptional trot in the young pony championship, pinning as reserve champion. Jam qualified for the USDF Breeders championship northeast series where she ranked in the top 10. Overall season highlights include an 8th place in the yearling fillies division nationally against some seriously nice warmbloods, and consistent scores earned her the National Dressage Pony Cup Yearling Filly Breed High Point Championship for 2024. In November it was back to Welsh show mode, travling to the Canadian Agricultural Royal Winter Fair where she placed second in a very large, high quality class. With her wonderful mind, quality gaits, and exemplary cob type, we are looking forward to developing this young pony for a ridden career.
